Desperate to be a mom, JENNIFER LOPEZ has undergone secret fertility surgery in a last-ditch effort to have a baby with singer-husband MARC ANTHONY, a source has told The ENQUIRER exclusively.
The 36-year-old actress had outpatient laparoscopic surgery last month at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to the source.
"The procedure involved the introduction of a laparoscope into J.Lo's abdomen through a small hole near the belly button, for the purpose of taking a close look at the ovaries, fallopian tubes and other organs for adhesions or possible malformations," an insider told The ENQUIRER.
During the four-hour procedure J.Lo's doctors injected a dye into her fallopian tubes, said the source.
"With the aid of the dye, the doctors did find a small blockage in one tube. Fortunately, as often happens during the dye procedure, the pressure-injected material itself appeared to open up the blocked tube.
