According to reports, Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe has agreed to donate his brain to science.
The Australian-born Crowe, 38, is reportedly genuinely interested in medical science and hopes that by donating his brain to Sydney University, scientists will be able to better understand the workings of the human brain.
Scientists also claim that they may be able to tell the major defining moments in Crowe's life by studying his gray matter. "We can build a dossier of material that will tell us what experiences have shaped the particular brain in relation to the life they lived," says Professor Clive Harper on the UK website The Sun.
The website also reports that the university is seeking 1,000 "particularly talented and creative" people to participate in their research study.
