Spoiler alert! Viewers who don't wish for advance dish on Frasier's series finale (airing May 13 on NBC) should read no further. For everyone else, TV Guide Online is about to reveal — courtesy of series star Kelsey Grammer — what becomes of Dr. Crane and his quirky brood. Well, reveal might be too strong a word. Let's go with tease instead.

First off, Grammer confirms that Bebe Neuwirth won't return as Frasier's ex, Lilith, in the end. That may disappoint Frasier fans who've held out hope for an unholy reunion, but the Seattle shrink's much more likely to move forward romantically — not backward — with Laura Linney's Charlotte.

Furthermore, Frasier's swan-song episode, entitled "Goodbye Seattle," will "leave everybody in a place where they [are] hopeful," Grammer says with a chuckle. "And there is a wedding in it, one that's been talked about." Translation: There's a reason they've kept Just Shoot Me's Wendie Malick around all year as Martin's main squeeze, Ronee. That's all we're gonna say...

Now, it's time for a sneak peek at what's ahead for Grammer. In addition to shooting a remake of A Christmas Carol for NBC, the three-time Emmy winner is producing pilots for Fox, NBC and Spike TV. He's also considering an offer to headline the Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles later this year. "I'm a producer-director-actor for hire," he says. "There's a whole bunch of options, of course, but I'm not trying to figure out exactly what's gonna happen. I think it's better to sit back and wait for the ride to unfold."

Might that ride include another sitcom? "I don't know," he shrugs. "I would only do one if it was really great. That's based upon writing, casting and whether or not you've got a collaborative environment. If it's not that, then it's not worth doing."
